Sally Geislar, Senior Program Associate
Sally is a PhD student in Planning, Policy and Design at the University of California, Irvine and holds a B.A. in Sociology and Spanish from Southwest Minnesota State University and an M.A. in Demographic and Social Analysis from U.C. Irvine. Her research has focused on sustainability issues including environmental justice, public lands planning, transportation policy, and household-level behavior change. Her work has been presented at regional and national conferences. She has also served as demographic and statistical consultant and program development and evaluation assistant to non-profit, community, and philanthropy organizations and consultants.
Danny Feliciano, Program Associate
Danny has just recently graduated from the University of California, Irvine, having earned his B.A. in Urban Studies, with an emphasis in Sustainability. Water policy, plastic pollution and industrial agriculture are among the many issues that he is currently working on to bring to the forefront of social and cultural concern. His primary interest involves analyzing human impacts on the natural environment, as well as each other. He also currently works with the Crystal Cove Alliance, as a part of their Education Team, to design and implement citizen science curriculum for K-12 students in the local community.
Ryan Esfahani, Program Intern
Ryan Esfahani is a recent graduate of UC Berkeley, holding a B.S. in Society and Environment and an emphasis in global environmental politics. His research interests include coalition building at the local and regional level and the study of social movements. He has worked as a research intern with Citizens United for Resources and Environment and with Save the Bay, focusing in the latter on bayfill prevention and restoration funding advocacy.
