Partnerships are complicated. And food work is no exception. However the latest work in the food sphere is not only impressive, but a real tribute to the way community does things best. Food is such a basic connector to culture and community.
In my talk at the national American Planning Association in Atlanta this last year, I highlighted some of the work our firm has done in this arena. Most importantly there was an opportunity to share best practices among colleagues. From our vantage point, this is just beginning to take root (isn’t it interesting that so many analogies are food-related?).
“Community” is calling us to change the way we do things.
We are proud of the collective work we have done with other master planners and landscape architects. The partnership development, program development and fund development work at integral to making these efforts work not just once, but for many years ahead.
