A Space for Emerging Non-Profit Leaders
How can our community inspire more new talent, connections and new community outcomes, with little infrastructure? How can we build creative leadership to grow people, ideas and collaborative projects in communities?
Modeled after the growing “hub” spaces and “creative mornings” popping up in major urban zones, Emerg OC is a “salon” concept where an experienced facilitator/mentor informally but strategically convenes a small circle of people to create new “communities”. We believe by creating the inviting space, the expert facilitation, and by fashioning thematic structure, new leadership learning and connections will emerge.
With this deliberate but experimental grouping of idea people, fresh approaches to solve problems and new alliances will be formed. Those participating will be able to “riff” off of each others ideas and meet people that can inspire them to continue their own road or join efforts.
We believe there is a group of people that could be more inspired and emboldened through conscious, local support. Emerging artists, non-profit executive directors, and young professionals looking for deeper change efforts are lost to a sea of “one-off events” with little ongoing forums to continue together. We can change this. Join us for Emerg OC.
