My Story

I remember as a young child going with my mom door to door to ask neighbors to sign a petition to save a wild area from road construction. I realized pretty young that one person could make a difference.

As a scientist, my dad taught me to have a deep curiosity for the world. When I entered college, I wanted to contribute back to the world and studied environmental planning. My early years taught me that the world is a complex, beautiful creation.

Through mentorship with other significant influences in my early work, I was inspired to grow as a person, seeing those who cared deeply for humanity. There remains an ever-present desire to experience the beauty of people and their struggles and dreams.
