According to the nonprofit group Project Drawdown, investing in universal education and family planning in low and middle-income countries could reduce emissions by 85.42 gigatons by 2050. (Almost a decade’s worth of China’s emissions.)

Women in Philanthropy

Maya opened my eyes to a different approach to philanthropy, and introduced me to many different resources, helping me better define my role as a young trustee, both on the board of my family foundation as well as my role within the community. She helped me see giving in a new light. I am finding my voice as a young trustee, and find genuine gratification in my involvement. I highly recommend her to any younger generation member who wants to engage in the world of philanthropy and work effectively on a board.
